On Friday 17th April we are pleased welcome back Bilston’s own psychedelic blues rock band, Smokin’ Eskimo, to the JJJ stage.
Combining a blend of blues & rock styles, Smokin’ Eskimo cater for a wide range of listeners and whilst they cite Jim Hendrix, Oasis, Led Zeppelin and Fleetwood Mac (Peter Green era) as artists who influence them, their musical style adds an Indie/Britpop slant to their sings with lyrical content reflecting many aspects of modern life; from deep thoughts about the universe to taking a drive through the Countryside. These are complimented well by a solid backline and memorable, exciting riffs to get you on your feet and dancing!
Support is provided by West Midlands-Based 4-Piece indie band Fishers Drive.

On Sunday 19th April we welcome back blues rockers Kevan & the Black Country Sons to Joe Joe Jims.
Kevan & the Black Country Sons is an original contemporary blues band with a Southern Rock influence along with a blues rock sound incorporating slide guitar and mandolin alongside electric and acoustic guitars.
The band was established in the Black Country in 2021, drawing its influences from the rock and blues of the 1970s, with the band releasing their debut album in December of that year. The album, and band, show a wide-range of styles and flavours and live, also perform a sprinkling of traditional blues classic covers.

The UK’s finest tribute to all things Two Tone, the mighty Skabucks, make a welcome return to the JJJ stage on Friday 24th April!
Bromsgrove’s very own Skabucks formed in 2008, have well over 1000 gigs under their belts, and have enjoyed a career that has seen them work with The Pogues, The Move and members of The Specials and play at many large music festivals as headline act.
Playing classic hits from the original 60’s Ska and the revival Two-Tone era, the irresistible rhythms and in-your-face, rock-steady beat of Skabucks comes complete with a no-quibble guarantee to get everyone on the floor or, as the band put it, Skabucks are “badass mother-funkers delivering the top end of maximum Ska and Two-Tone” … and you can’t argue with that!

On Saturday 25th April we are pleased to welcome back the excellent Midnight City Soul Band to Joe Joe Jims who are a well established (formed in 1982) five piece band playing a mix of classic Northern Soul & Motown grooves.
The band have in store classic tracks such as Uptight, Seven Days Too Long, Do I Love You, Green Onions and Time is Tight. To sum-up the band, “the sound is big and full, Hammond organ, tenor sax, bass, lead guitar and drums; one of the most powerful and soulful musical line-ups to come out of Birmingham” … or in other words, a ‘must’ for all lovers of Northern Soul!

Covering the band’s extensive career from their early country-tinged hits to their more classic rock sounds that became more pervasive during the 1970’s and 1980’s, as well as solo songs by the group’s leading song-writers, Glenn Frey, Don Henley and Joe Walsh, the West Coast Eagles will provide a great evening of high quality music and musicianship.

On Saturday 23rd May we are excited to welcome back Love the Beatles to Joe Joe Jims for another great evening faithfully recreating the music of the Fab Four!
The band consist of four performers – Reuven Gershon (John Lennon), Dougie Orr (Paul McCartney), David Green (George Harrison) and Andy Cunningham (Ringo Starr) – that have travelled the world in various Beatles musicals and tribute shows and have now come together (pun intended!) with Love the Beatles to put on a spectacular live show playing the hit-strewn back catalogue of Liverpool’s finest!
