Due to unprecedented demand, on Saturday 9th December we have added a second Love the Beatles show!
Bringing the music of the Fab Four to to life are four performers that have travelled the world in various Beatles musicals and tribute shows and have now come together (pun intended!) with Love the Beatles to put on a spectacular live show playing the hit-strewn back catalogue of Liverpool’s finest:
Reuven Gershon – John Lennon:
As a founder member of Love The Beatles Reuven has been studying and playing Beatles music since he first picked up the guitar aged 10 years old and he started playing professionally at age 15 in his home town of Birmingham.
Back in the UK he played with many Beatles outfits including The Upbeat Beatles, The Magic of the Beatles, The Cavern Club Beatles and The Bootleg Beatles and he has most recently returned from performing on Royal Caribbean’s Anthem of the Seas – the world’s twelfth largest cruise ship – with The Beatles Celebration and is very excited to now be heading up his own Beatles project.
Dougie Orr – Paul McCartney:
Dougie inherited his brother’s acoustic guitar at 7, taught himself to play and set off playing clubland from the age of 16, including joining the band Night Shift for a corporate gig in Moscow, and first performed as Macca came when he stood in for The Getback Band in Mons, Belgium which lead to a permanent position with the band.
Dougie has certainly followed in Paul’s footsteps (barefoot, presumably?) wit his favourite venue’s played so far being the Cavern club Liverpool and also recently playing the legendary Kaiserkeller in Hamburg!
David Green – George Harrison:
David, who has a degree in Music Technology from Portsmouth University and a Masters in music composition from Leeds College of Music, has been playing Beatles music professionally for 15 years, and has played with Beatlemania, the magic of of the Beatles, The Magic of The Beatles, The Upbeat Beatles and The Bootleg Beatles.
His favourite Beatles songs are And Your Bird Can Sing, She Said She Said and I’m Only Sleeping – his favourite Beatles Album is, surprisingly, Revolver and his favourite venue to perform in, apart from The Cavern, is the Liverpool empire.
Andy Cunningham – Ringo Starr:
Andy started playing music at age 10 in his Dad’s band and then studied Music Practice at Bury College until 2008 and has played Beatles music since 2017, playing with the likes of The Epic Beatles and BeatleManiaUK.
His favourite Beatles song is Here There and Everywhere and favourite Beatles album is Rubber Soul .
Don’t miss out on what will be a great night of live music when they come to town and recreate the brilliance of the Beatles live experience along with presenting classic track from their non-touring later years.
