On Friday 11th September we are looking forward to welcoming the internationally renowned Led Zeppelin tribute band Letz Sep to the JJJ stage.

Letz Zep comprises highly experienced and respected musicians who are all true Zep fans with a strong musical pedigree – members have toured with artist such as Ozzy Osbourne, Roger Daltrey, Queen, Def Leppard, Jason Bonham, Guy Chambers, Steve Hackett, Dr Feelgood, Saxon and Uriah Heep, to name but a few – possessing the considerable musical ability required to a completely convincing recreation of Led Zeppelin in their prime, complete with the ‘tight but loose’ trademark element so essential to the raw excitement of a Led Zeppelin concert.

Letz Zep cover the entire recording career of Led Zeppelin, from the haunting melody of ‘Kashmir’ to the rockers such as ‘Whole Lotta Love and ‘Immigrant Song’. The folksy acoustics such as ‘Going to California’ and ‘Babe I’m Gonna Leave You’ to the classic ‘Stairway to Heaven’.

On Saturday 12th September we are looking forward to welcoming back Killerstream, The Weekend Anthems Band to Joe Joe Jims for another evening of rock and pop anthems.

Killerstream, The Weekend Anthems Band – featuring James Weston (Lead Vocals), Nigel Boswell (Bass/Vocals), John Martin (Guitars/Vocals) and Ben Jones (Drums) – perform an exciting range of classic cover songs, including dance fillers from Jackie Wilson, Duran Duran, Kool and the Gang and David Bowie and bring their repertoire bang up to date with songs from Bruno Mars, Justin Timberlake, Kings of Leon and The Killers.

On Friday 18th September, as a 1/2 St. Patrick’s Day Celebration (we’re mid-way between St. Paddy’s Days and we like ’em, so thought why not?), we are excited to welcome back the awesome Dizzy Lizzy to Joe Joe Jims for a celebration of Dublin’s finest … Phil Lynott & Thin Lizzy!

One of the country’s leading and most dynamic tribute acts, they are the only act to have headlined both, the ‘Vibe for Philo’ in Dublin & ‘Remember Phil & Gary’ event in Holland. Although based in the Midlands, Dizzy Lizzy tour extensively throughout the UK/Europe & have performed as far afield as Los Angeles, Abu Dhabi & Dubai.

Philomena Lynott, Phil’s Mom no less, stated that Dizzy Lizzy are ‘the closest to playing my sons music‘ a great endorsement indeed! Dizzy Lizzy do indeed have an amazing sound and resemblance to the classic 70s & 80s rock band and will take you back in time to relive that magical musical era with a superb blend of classic foot stomping rock anthems and emotive rock ballads.

Singer/Guitarist Matt Blaney hits the JJJ stage on Sunday 20th September for an afternoon of acoustic live music featuring covers from the the 60s to the present day with a focus on the 80s/90s.

Matt has been gigging for over 3 years now in pubs, venues and at local festival stages across the Midlands. Whether it’s pub classics or more intimate music you are after, he’s got you covered. From singalongs by James, The Kooks, The Fratellis, The Killers, Amy Winehouse or even that up and coming band “Oasis” to some oldies by the likes of Frankie Valli, Bill Withers, or even John Paul Young – it’s in his repertoire!

On Friday 25th September we are pleased to welcome back the excellent Midnight City Soul Band to Joe Joe Jims who are a well established (formed in 1982) five piece band playing a mix of classic Northern Soul & Motown grooves.

The band have in store classic tracks such as Uptight, Seven Days Too Long, Do I Love You, Green Onions and Time is Tight. To sum-up the band, “the sound is big and full, Hammond organ, tenor sax, bass, lead guitar and drums; one of the most powerful and soulful musical line-ups to come out of Birmingham” … or in other words, a ‘must’ for all lovers of Northern Soul!

On Friday 26th September we look forward to welcoming back Kozmic Pearl, the UK’s ultimate Janis Joplin Tribute Act, to the JJJ stage!

It’s no small feat to take-on the work of Janis Joplin but that’s exactly what Mena Hardy does with aplomb. A seasoned rock ‘n roll frontwoman from Canada, she brings decades of experience in soulful, powerful rock ‘n roll singing to this new Birmingham-based tribute band also featuring guitarist Chris Lloyd, bassist Dave Poole, keyboardist Alan Morgan and drummer David Pearce.

The band deliver a raw, soulful, and electrifying performance, capturing the spirit of Janis like no other so ‘Get It While You Can’!

On Friday 2nd October we welcome back ‘supergroup’ Taxi For Jesus – who feature four past members of The Trevor Burton Band: Maz Mitrenko (Lead Guitar and Vocals), Stuart Ford (Lead Guitar), Pez Connor (Bass), Bill Jefferson (drums) – to Joe Joe Jims.

Maz has enjoyed over 50 years in the music business as a guitar player, singer and songwriter and there have been almost countless bands and projects he has been involved with over the years, the most recognised being his tenures with Hoi Polloi, The Handsome Beasts and the Trevor Burton band.

Although he has been running his own successful band for over a decade, which continues to perform, Maz is enjoying trying something a little different with “Taxi for Jesus”!

So, get down to Joe Joe Jims for what will be an energetic, highly charged performance from a great group of musicians.

If you love classic rock, as we know a lot of you do, then Saturday 3rd October will be a date for your diaries as we welcome The Rooters back to Joe Joe Jims.

The band have played some barnstorming gigs with us previously and have a heavy gig schedule throughout the country and we’re extremely pleased that they’ve managed to fit us in for what will be another fine evening of “dual guitar attack with massive bass and drums to keep us rollicking along“, with two sets from the boys covering songs from bands such as Thin Lizzy, Queen, Metallica, Black Stone Cherry, Thunder, Black Sabbath, Rush, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Ozzy, Iron Maiden and Deep Purple amongst many more artists.

On Friday 9th October we welcome The Starving Rascals to JJJ for an evening of classic rock music, soul, funk and some contemporary gems.

The five piece band – Andrew Abberley (Lead Guitar Backing Vocals), Phil Maggs (Drums Backing Vocals), Martin Oakley (Lead Vocals Guitars), Pete Haynes (Lead Vocals Bass Guitars) and Julie Kimber (Saxophone) – play a wide range and variety of great music to please and satisfy the tastes of even the most discerning punter, with all songs performed to a very high standard, with great feeling, passion and a good helping of a’ la Rascals’ magic.

One of the main criteria for including any song in the set list is:- “Can you dance to it?” This alone, has helped to make the Starving Rascals a truly great “Party Band” with a diverse repertoire features songs from: The Beatles, Brian Setzer, Bryan Adams, Cockney Rebel, Chuck Berry, The Cult, The Darkness, David Bowie, Dexy’s Midnight Runners, Doobie Brothers, Eagles, Elvis, Fleetwood Mac … to name but a few!

On Sunday 11th October we look forward to welcoming blues guitarist/singer George Wilson to Joe Joe Jims for a solo performance.

George is a 15 year old blind musician from Solihull and has already wowed audiences over the past couple of years at the Upton Blues Festival, featured in the Top 20 shortlist for the Jules Fothergill Young Artist of the Year at the 2026 UK Blues Awards, and has gigged extensively – both solo and with his band – around the country, cementing his reputation as one of the finest up and coming blues artists on the circuit!
