On Saturday 17th May we are pleased to welcome back the West Coast Eagles, performing their tribute to legendary LA country rockers the Eagles, to JJJ.
Covering the band’s extensive career from their early country-tinged hits to their more classic rock sounds that became more pervasive during the 1970’s and 1980’s, as well as solo songs by the group’s leading song-writers, Glenn Frey, Don Henley and Joe Walsh, the West Coast Eagles will provide a great evening of high quality music and musicianship.
Nailing the bands precise five-part vocal harmonies, arrangements, stage presence and staggering musical pedigree of the Eagles, with five singers, acoustic and electric guitars, keyboard, drums, and bass they provide a full sound, able to cover many bases, including one of the most famous harmony guitar parts in rock music, in Hotel California.
We’re expecting high-demand for this show so we’d recommending booking early.

Bromsgrove’s very own Skabucks formed in 2008, have well over 1000 gigs under their belts, and have enjoyed a career that has seen them work with The Pogues, The Move and members of The Specials and play at many large music festivals as headline act.
Playing classic hits from the original 60’s Ska and the revival Two-Tone era, the irresistible rhythms and in-your-face, rock-steady beat of Skabucks comes complete with a no-quibble guarantee to get everyone on the floor or, as the band put it, Skabucks are “badass mother-funkers delivering the top end of maximum Ska and Two-Tone” … and you can’t argue with that!
We are expecting high-demand for this gig so would recommend booking tickets as soon as possible.

We’re very excited to announce that we have secured the services of legendary folk, blues, rock, country – and a whole host of other styles over the years – singer-songwriter (and yes, brother of Rolling Stone Mick) Chris Jagger to take the JJJ stage on Friday 30th May!
It’s a little tricky to provide a brief overview of Chris’s career which has spanned many roles – theatre, cinema, clothing design (he designed a jacket for Jimi Hendrix no less!), journalism and music – and many decades … his debut album coming in 1973 mixing country, blues, and rock.
In addition to over a dozen solo albums, he has worked with the likes of the Rolling Stones, Eric Clapton, Sam Brown, Dave Gilmour and Dave Stewart and has been formed the bands Atcha! and Chris Jagger’s Acoustic Trio over the years, along with guesting on various albums and projects, including several collaborations with brother Mick which he modestly attributes to “I have been so fortunate knowing other excellent musicians far above me in their competence, yet they value my contribution as I come up with lyrics and ideas“.
We don’t know the setlist Chris will choose for the show – he has written and performed over 100 songs during his career and his work spans multiple genres – but we are certain it will be a great evening of live music from one of its true legends!
We’re expecting very high-demand for this show and so we’d recommending booking early.

The power trio – also featuring Mickey Barker on drums and James Hoskins on bass – plays original material along with a smattering of classic rock (Highway to Hell and Freebird have been known to put in an appearance, among others) and blues covers with their own twist – or in their words, “blues/rock played with more psychedelic experience and imagination than most“ – and we have enjoyed many great gigs from them over the years at JJJ.

On Sunday 8th June, we look forward to the return of Matt Woosey to Joe Joe Jims, this time joined by his Big Band!
Matt decided at the beginning of 2024 year to have a year off from touring and performing and now thoroughly refreshed, he is looking forward to hitting the road again in 2025, playing exclusively with his Big Band project, featuring Tupac Amaru Ulloa on Flute, John Parker (Ed sheeran, Nizlopi) on Bass, Matt Worley (Robert Plant) on Guitar, 3 Backing singers and a GREAT band!
Matt’s performances span from eyeball-to-eyeball solo sets in fans’ living rooms, to thundering full-band explosions that shake the most prestigious venues in Europe. He’s an artist who slips the creative handcuffs of the industry, a trailblazer with no reverse gear, a guitar visionary whose palette bleeds into folk, rock, ambient and more, having been first turned on to the world of music by the blues with an early taste for Led Zeppelin. This quickly spilled over into blues-rock heavyweights like Rory Gallagher, Paul Kossoff and Peter Green, with Tim Buckley and John Martyn also stirred into the mix (“I always loved the way they used their voices as an instrument”). Soon, passive enjoyment alone no longer enough scratched the itch, and Matt duly pinballed through a string of local bands that included a Thin Lizzy covers outfit.
Don’t miss this one folks – we’ve been hearing good things about Matt’s exciting new ‘Big Band’ project and anyone who has caught one of Matts many shows at JJJ will know they’re in for a treat from one of the most passionate, soulful blues performers on the circuit!
