Saturday 29th October sees the excellent Big Wolf Band hitting the Joe Joe Jims stage for an evening of blues rock.
The five-piece band will be performing two sets of original material, along with a few classic covers, including numbers from their A Rebel’s Story album which claimed the number 1 spot on the Amazon blues album chart and Top 20 on iTunes!
The band have previously supported Whitesnake’s Bernie Marsden, among others, and released their second album in 2019, Be Free, featuring Joe Joe Jim’s favourite Zoe Green on lead vocals – tracks from which received radio airplay on the BBC and Planet Rock!
So, if you want to enjoy an evening of powerful blues rock, delivered by a highly experienced band, then this is the gig for you!

Saturday 26th November sees the welcome return of The Electric Blues Rebellion, featuring legendary local blues singer Paul Bridgewater.
Paul and the band play a powerful mix of original blues rock numbers taken from Paul’s solo albums ‘Seven Songs’ and ‘The Other Side Of The Sun‘ plus the 2016 collaborative ‘Setting Suns’ album.
Paul, best known as front man for Slowburner, is renowned as one of the UK’s finest vocalists, so much so in fact that another local singer who did alright for himself, called Robert Plant, commented that “Paul’s a great singer who continues the tradition of great British blues & soul singers” … great praise indeed!
On Sunday 27th November we are pleased to welcome back a tribute to Sweden’s Finest with ABBA Alike!
Of course, ABBA need no introduction and ABBA Alike are one of the leading ABBA Tribute groups on the circuit recreating the classic harmonies of Agnetha and Anni-Frid on all of the classic hits of the group.
So, if you’re looking for a great afternoon out and a bit of a boogie to some classic 70s/early-80s pop, come along! The band put on a great show and the last time they were with us and tickets sold our rather quickly so we’d recommend booking in advance as much as possible as this will be a really popular event.
