Friday 7th June sees the welcome return of The Electric Blues Rebellion, featuring legendary local blues singer Paul Bridgewater (Slowburner), playing a powerful mix of original blues rock numbers taken from Paul’s solo albums ‘Seven Songs’ and ‘The Other Side Of The Sun‘ plus the 2016 collaborative ‘Setting Suns’ album.
Paul, best known as front man for Slowburner, is renowned as one of the UK’s finest vocalists, so much so in fact that another local singer who did alright for himself, called Robert Plant, commented that “Paul’s a great singer who continues the tradition of great British blues & soul singers” … great praise indeed!
