It’s easier to say what blues guitarist Melvin Hancox hasn’t done during his career! Having played his first gig at 12 yrs old, Melvin secured his first record deal at 16 and subsequently toured Europe, gaining experience in both radio and television, and went on to form Joe Joe Jims favourites “Vincent Flatts Final Drive” … then scored his second record deal at 18 yrs.
From that gentle introduction into the world of music, Melvin went on to work with Budgie, Man, Tony McPhee, Canned Heat and the Ace Kefford, among many others, and today fronts his own outfit – featuring local legend Trevor Baylis on drums – providing a live set of “blues/rock played with more psychedelic experience and imagination than most“!
We can guarantee this show will be one not to miss.
